Yonbo is the consumer robotics brand from X-Origin. We are a company of designers, engineers, and researchers from Silicon Valley and Shenzhen, all driven by a single purpose: to create robotics that are personal, accessible, and genuinely human. Our founding team’s experience in building robotics spans over a decade, including everything from smart devices to intuitive interaction systems. We are now bringing that expertise together to explore what true companionship can mean in our daily lives.

It’s not just a smart device — it’s a learning companion, creative assistant, and a friend that listens, learns, and inspires. Yonbo is also powered by an expandable intelligence platform, allowing continuous updates, new capabilities, and user-driven customization — an open, evolving AI experience.

For children, Yonbo becomes a gentle guide for exploration and growth. It helps them learn through play, discover with curiosity, and build confidence through interaction. When we start

X-Origin was founded in 2023, built by a small group of designers and robotics engineers who shared a belief that technology can have soul.
The Yonbo project began in the late 2023, with our first prototype unveiled in June 2024.
In 2025, we launched Yonbo X1 to the U.S. market, marking our first step toward building a global AI companion brand that redefines how people live, learn, and create with intelligent technology.
Backed by X-Origin’s foundation in design, R&D, and manufacturing, Yonbo stands at the intersection of AI innovation and emotional design, pushing the boundary of what everyday robotics can mean for people.

Yonbo’s engineering delivers a profound “sense of life” through a proprietary, on-device cognitive architecture designed to replace rigid, script-based robotics.
Engineered to mirror human social intelligence, our system integrates five modules in a continuous loop. It begins with a Multimodal Perception module, fusing vision sensor and four-microphone array data, using our patented motion noise suppression for clear audio during movement, to analyze social cues beyond mere words. This enriches a ‘First-Person’ Memory module. An internal Self-Emotion module references this graph to generate a dynamic emotional state, driving a Coordinated Emotional Expression engine. Finally, a Social Communication module refines this output, ensuring every interaction is socially intelligent and situationally appropriate.
This fully on-device cognitive loop, guided by a patented method for handling robot task conflicts, powers a series of advanced functions, supporting complex reasoning and authentic emotional connection, making Yonbo a secure and perceptive companion.
