Yonbo is the consumer robotics brand from X-Origin. We are a company of designers, engineers, and researchers from Silicon Valley and Shenzhen, all driven by a single purpose: to create robotics that are personal, accessible, and genuinely human.

Our founding team’s experience in building robotics spans over a decade, including everything from smart devices to intuitive interaction systems. We are now bringing that expertise together to explore what true companionship can mean in our daily lives.

What We Do

Our first product, Yonbo X1, is a next-generation social robot that combines motion intelligence, multi-modal AI, and a deeply adaptive personality engine. It’s not just a smart device — it’s a learning companion, creative assistant, and a friend that listens, learns, and inspires.

Yonbo is also powered by an expandable intelligence platform, allowing continuous updates, new capabilities, and user-driven customization — an open, evolving AI experience.

We design for homes, creators, and families who want technology that feels natural, encourages play, supports learning, and strengthens connections. For children, Yonbo becomes a gentle guide for exploration and growth. It helps them learn through play, discover with curiosity, and build confidence through interaction. Why We Exist

The idea behind Yonbo began with a simple but powerful question: “Why does AI feel so distant, when it could feel alive?”

We wanted to close the emotional gap between humans and technology. Instead of static smart devices that respond only to commands, we envisioned a living interface — a form of AI that sees, understands, and grows alongside its user.

Yonbo represents our belief that the next wave of AI should not only be functional but emotional, intuitive, and human in experience. It’s about companionship, not computation.

When We Started

X-Origin was founded in 2023, built by a small group of designers and robotics engineers who shared a belief that technology can have soul.

The Yonbo project began in the late 2023, with our first prototype unveiled in June 2024.
In 2025, we launched Yonbo X1 to the U.S. market, marking our first step toward building a global AI companion brand that redefines how people live, learn, and create with intelligent technology.
